Henry's Thoughts
"The makeover process for Justin and Nana Shaz was highly strategised, well thought through, stressful and yet exhilarating.
It was one of the most challenging of all makeovers I have ever conducted. I have had experience with various makeovers on shows both in the USA and Australia in the hundreds. This involved a strategy that worked from the inside out and was streamlined specifically for both. It took a team of top professional experts, and speed lightning timing to get this together.
They flew in from different parts of the country fully dedicated. The dentistry alone which normally takes 1 – 5 weeks just to get a full set of teeth, with the incredible efforts of Dr Oey from Hooey Dental of Potts Point and Marrickville, it was 12 hours and honestly a minor miracle.
Joey Scandizzo was flown up from Melbourne with crack team for hair and makeup. The people involved from the colour therapy at June Daly Watkins, Julia Walker Bengtsson and her healing Yoga, The Skin and massage experts. The incredible people at Ross Automotive and Performance Pty Ltd.
On top of it all, it was not about changing who they are, but - rather it was about adding to the feisty, rich and humorous personalities that they already are.
The show’s exceptional producers namely Paul Fenech and Joe Weatherstone let us dig in and get to work with complete belief and trust.
And to be honest.... Both Justin and Nana Shaz took me by surprise. I had sleepless nights before and exhaustion after, but they came to the party in a way I could not have dreamt possible. Ultimately it was their achievement, because the will was there. I feel very close and fond of them, both Justin and Nana Shaz, I wish them the success, love and continued joy along the path and road that is this journey of life."
Humanity.
